Legal information
Privacy Policy
This page explains how phoenix7.cz (the "site") handles visitors' personal data. The site is a personal, non-commercial project — a diary of a motorhome conversion. It runs no advertising, sells nothing, and neither shares nor sells visitor data to anyone.
This is an English translation provided for convenience. The
Czech version is the authoritative one.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the site operator, Petr Haak (a natural person, Czech Republic). Contact: e-mail [email protected], or the contact form on the home page.
2. What data we process and why
- Contact form: name, e-mail address and the text of your message. Purpose: to answer your question. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in handling correspondence that you initiated yourself (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Automated reply (AI): for some enquiries the first reply may be prepared automatically by a language model (AI), based on the content of your message and this site's public knowledge base. The text of your message is processed by the AI service provider for this purpose. An AI reply never constitutes a decision with legal effect — it is only technical assistance in answering your question. If you would rather not receive an automated reply, please say so in your message and I will answer personally.
- Language choice: the site stores a
lang cookie (the selected language, valid for 1 year). This is a purely technical cookie necessary for the language versions to work — it contains no personal data and does not track you.
- Traffic statistics: the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — a tool which, according to the provider's documentation, uses no tracking cookies, no browser fingerprinting and no visitors' personal data; it measures only anonymous aggregate metrics (page views, page performance). The site uses no advertising or marketing tracking.
- Server logs: the Cloudflare infrastructure may briefly process technical data (IP address, request headers) to ensure the security and operation of the network.
3. Retention period
Correspondence from the contact form is kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any follow-up communication, at most 2 years, after which it is deleted. The technical lang cookie is valid for 1 year and can be deleted in your browser at any time.
4. Recipients and processors
- Cloudflare, Inc. — site hosting (Pages), network infrastructure, anonymous analytics and form delivery.
- Resend — technical delivery of e-mail notifications from the contact form.
- AI service provider (Cloudflare Workers AI) — automated processing of the enquiry text to prepare a reply, see section 2.
Data is not passed on to any other third parties and is not used for marketing.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object to processing, and to data portability. Just write to the contact address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.gov.cz).
